I am still practicing anesthesia at a hospital in LA, and the shortage of protective gear to help health care providers is drastically real.

If you have masks in your home, give them to those who are helping on the front lines, to those who are risking their lives to save your life and give you the most fundamental piece of vitality - your breath. If healthcare workers become ill, who will be left to take care of you? I have also heard of people who have PAPR powered air-purifying respirators. We are in dire need of these as well. Please think of your community.
